Empty Airport
I’m at Copenhagen Airport. Strange feeling. Nearly everything is closed, big halls are empty of people.

Thank you, God! I can’t wait for this whole nightmare to be over. But I’m now in my flat in Spain, and bar and cafes here are surprisingly open—much more so than the last time I was here.
Read about it the Guardian.
I’m not s big fan of the winning conservatives, but socialism is there last thing Spain needs now.
“Egyptian archaeologists working on the Nile Delta have uncovered dozens of rare predynastic tombs dating to the period before Egypt’s Pharaonic kingdoms first emerged more than 5,000 years ago,” Jerusalem Post writes.
About 44% Americans born between 1981 and 1988 report having been diagnosed with at least one chronic health condition, CNBC reports.
I’d be suprised if Europeans weren’t as bad.
Nicola Sturgeon, leader of the Scottish National Party, is, in my opinion, one of the best politicians in Britain. I don’t agree with her on most things, but she’s sincere and educated. However, the upcoming election could be the beginning of her end.
Somebody needs to chill.

I read at Space.com that a skywatcher in Italy has spotted a huge Chinese rocket core falling uncontrolled from orbit. An image at BBC makes me realise that I could be hit.

No one seems to be sure of what rules apply here in Spain at the moment. Is the 11pm–6am curfew still in place, and what about the restaurants’ opening hours? Alex Dunham of The Local tries to explain the situation.
I read horrific news reported by the Jerusalem Post. I really hope Israel will prevail over terrorism.

According to IDF on Twitter, every red dot marks sirens in Israel. Will the terrorists ever learn that this won’t win them anything?
“The five-year-old boy succumbed to his wounds several hours after a direct hit to his Sderot home,” Jerusalem Post writes. “Several hours earlier an IDF soldier was killed in Hamas anti-tank missile attack.”

Frightening study presented in the World Journal of Men’s Health.
If you care for your penis, take the jab!

In newspaper Expressen, Kajsa Ekis Ekman accuses transpeople of being too emotional. I wonder how she would act if someone wrote a book full of straw-man arguments singling her out as a threat to women. Hate isn’t cute when the table gets turned.

“Organisers of New York City’s Pride events say they will ban police and other law enforcement personnel from marching in their annual parade until at least 2025 and will also seek to keep on-duty officers a block away from the celebration of LGBTQ+ people and history,” the Associated Press and the Guardian write.

When I was a young gay man, I’d love a police walking for our rights. Now I’m ashamed to say that Pride parades have be overtaken by people with radical ideas against capitalism, police, well, everything. The average gay man is not really welcome anyone.
But maybe it’s not all bad. Cispeople and transwomen see Pride as an opportunity to discuss polices and identities. Gay men are more interested in hanging out and taking advance of new opportunities to have sex?
I don’t know why, but my stomach is upset with me. I try to relax it by turning the world news off. Seems nothing good is happening. 😢

She may count three little daisies very well
By multiplying to either six nine or fourteen
Or she can be well mentioned as twelve
Which they may like which they can like soon
Or more than ever which they wish as a button
Just as much as they arrange which they wish
Or they can attire where they need as which say
Can they call a hat or a hat a day
Made merry because it is so.
The Jerusalem Post writes about new illustrations that show how Hamas managed to build elaborate infrastructure in the heart of civilian neighbourhoods. In a macabre sort of way, it’s impressive.

The ruler of Russia, the country that occupied Eastern Europe for most of the 20th century and continues to meddle in Western democracies, now tries to make people believe it’s the other way around.
Good news! The rockets will stop flying in a couple of hours.

The Sun reports that Gazans celebrate in the streets by setting off fireworks, showing V-signs, and waving flags. It’s bizarre.

Maureen Callahan is right in her New York Post column, Prince Harry’s call for privacy from the media while becoming an active player in the media is hypocritical. That being said, Harry should get praise for his work with mental health.

On this day, in 1999, two Swedish police officers were killed by neo-Nazis at Malexander. I remember this clearly. It shook the nation. Nazi violence went from being something that only targeted minorities.
