Shabbat Shalom
It’s Friday.
It’s Friday.
I took a news detox. I refrained from news. Then I logged into reality and was hit hard by a tsunami of news about crazy politicians doing crazy things.
After two weeks of rest and sun in Spain, I’m now back in Malmö and my regular job. I’m always fascinated by how tired I am after a holiday. Shuldn’t it be the other way around?
“A New York Times investigation found a well-organized campaign by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government that embraced Eurovision as a soft power tool, and a secretive contest organizer that was ill-equipped to respond.” Read it at the New York Times.
A 7-metres effigy of Donald Trump, wrapped in gold leaf, now stands at his Doral golf course in Miami. The American right-of-sanity movenment’s worship of Trump is very North Korean. Read it at Letters from Leo.

Don’t forget that this isn’t anti-Semitism, only anti-Zionism. That’s what the “progressive” a-holes wants you to think. Read it at CBS News.
An opinion piece published in the New York Times this week alleged that, despite an absence of evidence, Israel utilises sexual violence against Palestinians as part of its security apparatus, citing the conspiracy theory that Israeli guards coach dogs to sexually assault Palestinian prisoners. Read it at Jewish News Syndicate and the Times of Israel.
To be fair, accusing Israel of using animals against Palestinians is nothing new.

“Too many Westerners want to pretend that the Iranian regime is only a problem in the Middle East. This could not be further from the truth. Iranian proxies have been attacking Americans, Australians, Europeans, and others around the world for many years.“ Read it at PJ Media.
“In April, the AI lab Anthropic announced it had developed a new system, called Mythos, that it said was too powerful to release to the public because of its ability to find gaping holes in online security systems.” Read it at the Telegraph.

Had plans today, but I woke up with fever and fatigue. Now I’m watching random videos on YouTube.
Israel says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid a “secret” wartime visit to the United Arab Emirates. The UAE says no such visit took place. Hm? Maybe the visit was too secret. Read it at the Yeshiva World.
Anti-Semitism is so resurgent in US politics that some of the worst hate speech you've ever heard has become a part of day-to-day life for Jewish politicians. Read it at Axios.
This is excellent! Read it at Townhall.
Yay! It’s the weekend.
I hate autumn and winter in Sweden. It’s cold, it’s dark. But today, spring is finally here big time. The first day of 2026 in shorts for me. Well, not really. I had shorts when in the Gran Canaria a few weeks ago, but that doesn’t count. I’m talking about Sweden now. Anyhow, I love it. Spring makes me think that God loves me after all.
It’s my birthday today. I have now been alive for 54 years. That’s about 30 more than I remember thinking as a teenager.

Maureen Galindo is mad. Not even her own party wants anything to do with her. Read it at New York Post.
From PJ Media:
“Russia is considering limiting exports of diesel and jet fuel,” Bloomberg and other sources reported Tuesday, “as refinery run rates fall to multi-year lows amid Ukraine’s escalating attacks.” An Interfax source claimed that the decision to ban exports is at “an advanced stage”, but no date has been set.
Good!
“San Jose State University police arrested a suspect Wednesday for allegedly making terroristic threats and going on a months-long vandalism spree that primarily targeted Jewish students,” The College Fix writes.
It’s Friday afternoon!
”Ghana’s parliament has approved one of Africa’s most restrictive anti-LGBTQ laws, reviving controversial legislation that imposes prison terms for same-sex relations and support for LGBTQ activities, despite strong criticism from human rights groups and international organisations,” Africa News reports.
Arseholes.
Don’t a shock to anyone. Read it at Victory Girls.
“From mini-pigs and organ printing to cryotherapy and genetics, Russia’s president has turned antiaging research into a Kremlin priority,” the Wall Street Journal writes.
Just die!
I’m reading an article in Swedish tabloid Expressen about men who spend enormous amounts of money and struggle through pain, just to get some hair back on their heads. Why? I don’t get it. Bald men are sexy. Embrace it.
Judge Lawrence VanDyke being quoted in the Washington Post. 🤦♂️
