Spain’s Suicide Pandemic

Suicides are on the rise in Spain, now with eleven suicides a day, the EU Observer reports.

In my opinion, the problem is that most societies are not comfortable enough to discuss suicide openly. People feel shame and are fed nonsense about self-harm somehow being selfish, cowardly, and immoral.
