First Day at New Job

Copenhagen will be the workplace from now on.

Will Pope Francis Resign?

The Pope has fuel new speculation on future of pontificate, AP News reports. I think it’s absurd to expect a ruler to stay in their job until they die.

Slow Blogging

Smail220607

I normally keep up with the news, but in the past week, with a new job, I don’t have the energy. My online diary will suffer. Not that I think anyone will care that much, but I thought it would be nice to tell my readers that blogging will continue at snail pace this summer.

Shabbat Shalom

The new job is interesting, but there’s so much to learn. Thank God he gave us Shabbat. Now—rest. And beer!

The Joy of Being Disconnected

I’m truly exhausted these days. The new job drains me—but it’s fun! My life online suffers, though. But considering what’s in the news at the moment, it feels good to be detached. In Sweden, one Marxist MP keeps playing with a hung parliament, jeopardising the NATO membership bid. In Ukraine, Putin keeps killing innocent people who have never done anything wrong against Russia. Africa is starving as a result of Putin halting Ukrainian exports. And, yes, inflation is rampant all over. We’re doomed!

A Weekend in Stockholm

I spent the past weekend in Stockholm, the city that was my home for most of by youth. Every visit takes me back to what seem a past life. I can’t say that I miss the city much, but it’s breathtakingly beautiful in the summer months.

The Common Cold

I’ve fallen ill. Nothing too serious, just the common cold. Fatigue. Fever. Cough. I hate it!
