The Subdomain WWW Is No More
It’s Shabbat, and in my attempt to be a better man, I have become more observant of the day of rest. Not least because I need it since my working weeks are quite busy at the moment. However, I did some work today. I have made a small change to my website’s address that should not really make a difference, but that just might cause a problem for some. The subdomain “www” is no more. I got rid of this because I think it’s outdated. On today’s world wide web, the abbreviation is as informative as the file name “index”. Everyone knows it’s there, but it really serves no purpose to write it out. Anyhow, the change should cause no problem since my website has been accessible both with and without the subdomain for years. The alteration is more of a formality.
