The Simon Wiesenthal Center Says Sweden’s ‘Jew Tax’ Is Morally Unacceptable
The Jewish human-rights organisation, based in Los Angeles, urges the Swedish government to take over the onerous cost of protecting Jews and Jewish institutions in Sweden, a cost it consider a special tax on Jews. “Sweden intelligence has identified over 400 Islamist radicals and Neo-Nazis,” says Rabbi Abraham Cooper in a statement. “Coupled with global threats from ‘lone wolf’ operatives, Jews are a primary target for hate crimes and terrorists.”
