Rabbi Andrew Sacks on the Un-Jewishness of Anti-Gay Therapy

A group of Orthodox rabbis in Israel has set up a fund to finance so-called conversion therapy, which is an unscientific scam method used by religious homophobes to turn gay men straight (often resulting in depression and suicide). “This support for conversion therapy is a violation of everything Jewish,” Rabbi Sacks writes. “Rabbis must know that they are obligated to follow the best that science and medicine have to offer.”
