Rampant Homophobia in Sweden’s Muslim Community

Newspaper Sydsvenska Dagbladet continues to investigate how religious communities in Sweden treat gay people. Today, it runs two articles about the Muslim community. First, an interview with Ardeshir Bibakadabi, a brave gay Muslim who tells a horrific story about abuse and discrimination. And second, an interview with Ayoub Chibli, an imam in Malmö who says loving someone of the same sex is evil.

The Muslim world is in desperate need of a reform movement.
