Mormons Spend $22.88 Million on Anti-Gay Campaign

“The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has mobilised followers to give an estimated 77% of donations to support California’s proposed marriage ban,” the Advocate writes. Why are the Mormons so opposed to same-sex marriage? Considering what devastating effect the “one man, one woman” definition of marriage has had on their culture, I thought they would know better.
