Surprising Poll Result
In this week’s issue, British newspaper The Economist runs a series of articles on the US election. Among other things, it has asked professional economists to give us their views on the economic policies of the two candidates. I must admit I am surprised by the result. Barack Obama is my favourite; solely based on social issues as I consider his economic and foreign policies potentially harmful to America and the world. However, the professional economists seem less frightened by Obama’s protectionist talk than I am.
