Sociopath Mentality in Hate-Crime Debate

This Swedish blogger is either a calculated sociopath or just not very bright. What sparks this judgement is an article he published on his blog yesterday. I don’t have the time to translate his text in full, but in short he argues that the victims of hate crimes are offending their perpetrators by reporting them to the police. To loathe an assailants should be considered a hate crime equal to that of the assaulter, he says. He also writes that he is not an anti-Semite although he hates all Jews. Furthermore, he argues that violent acts against members of a minority groups should be legal in the privacy of one’s home. In other words, if a homophobic parent finds out about a son or daughter’s homosexuality, it’s OK to physically abuse him or her.
