The World’s Oldest Mother

It’s kind of hard to believe that somebody can do a thing like this, but apparently a 67-year-old woman in Spain has become a mother of twins after she acted under false pretence to get in-vitro fertilisation treatment in the United States. According to an article in News of the World she says, ”Everyone has to have children at the right time for them. This was the right time for me. It was something I always dreamed of.” Well, be that as it may, but what about the children? Realistically speaking, the new mother may have about ten years left of her life, which will make her sons orphans before they are teenagers. And since she is a spinster, she is now hunting for a younger husband to be a father to the babies.

Some people are unforgivably short-sighted.
