The End of a Successful Year

In a few hours, I will leave Sweden for the Netherlands and a week of party with old friends in Amsterdam. I have decided to take time off from blogging on my holiday and leave my computer at home. As a result, this will be the last blog entry of 2006. Therefore, I take this opportunity to wish all my readers a Happy New Year!

The past year has been amazing in many ways. In Swedish politics, the general election was a huge success and we could see the back of twelve years of socialist rule. In 2006 NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter provided us with the first pictures of our neighbour planet. And in terms of my blogging, this year has proven to be a great success. My readership has grown, the year-end figures reveal that my blog had well over a million hits and more than 75,000 visitors in 2006. Perhaps it doesn’t make me one of the major Swedish bloggers, but it’s enough to make me proud and motivated. I thank all visitors for spending some of their precious time reading my blog.

The blog will now rest until 7 January 2007 while I party with my friends. Before I go, I must tell you about what Jesus and Mo are up to. Believe it or not, but they are getting married. This is how Mo popped the question:
