Grim Figures for New Government

Only two months after the general election, several opinion polls show a sharp decline in support for the newly elected liberal-conservative government. According to the latest opinion poll by the research agency Synovate Temo, the socialist opposition is ahead by 6%.

The four political parties that make up the governing alliance are marked in blue, while the three parties of the opposition are red. The election result of 17 September is seen in the two columns to the left while the result from the November opinion poll is seen in the columns to the right.
